I've started getting scam texts over night on my phone, specifically after midnight local time. These include things like verify your payment, shipment held supply account info, your bank wants you to approve/deny a payment and so on. None of course directly identify me or any institution/payment/customer. And all supply a link to tap. I've been deleting them but I've begun to think they're coming in that late in purpose hoping perhaps to get more responses when we're sleep addled. Anyone else been seeing this?? Just curious.

I get more scam emails than text messages (but I do get a few of those from time to time). One text I get periodically says "Hi Alicia, we've found a great property that we think you might be interested in...please click the link for more details."

Perhaps they are coming in “late” is because they are originating from a time zone very east of you. As in any country that ends in “stan”.
