The POR green is not the metallic shade but solid, dark olive color. See:

for my engine painted in POR's AH engine enamel.

For the record, I rather like the POR enamel. It's thick, covers well and was "about" the right shade for my 1964's engine. The only caveat I'll offer is DON'T use their solvent, thin the paint with mineral spirits for spraying (smooth parts like valve covers) and apply the second coat before the first is completely dry or you risk wrinkling the first coat. Brush painting cast iron is easy and efficient.
 
Now of course the trick is going to be finding this in a spray can.

Paul Asgeirsson <pasgeirsson@worldnet.att.net> aka Morriservice has the correct thru 67 olive green Spridget paint in spray cans. $12. I It covers well, is dead right, and he's a nice guy.
