If it was a retrofit for an earlier TR, they would have to ensure that it could be hand cranked like the original.

Dale, I decided against that machining process again. I didn't want to raise the compression, so I could use the new Moss supercharger being designed to fit this model.

Bolt on 40% increase will put it right about on the sweet spot.

Looks like my aluminum flywheel will fit this one too!

Just need to add a small hood scoop and we're good to go..........

I have a feeling this is the same engine, what are the chances of hp/torque figures being the same?
these pictures have always impressed me, though I've never seen Dale's version, even more impressive.

Paul,don't you think this might make you a little nose-heavy?

A long time ago, I was working on restoring a diesel powered, WWII refrigeration ship. When I went down into the engine room there was a guy yelling at the engine, or so it seemed. He was actually talking to another guy, on a ladder with the mother of all micrometers, inside the cylinder checking for wear.

It was a six cylinder NordBerg, 132 rpm tops, small in comparison to the monster Dale posted, but the biggest engine I had ever seen.

If your gonna put that in a TR you'll have to make sure that it runs a little hot and leaks a little oil.

No, it will be fine Booley. With the right type of air bag system, I'll be able to lift the front wheels off the ground like the low rider street rods in LA.

I'd plan on putting this in a chopped, dropped and channeled low rider, if I did it at all.

It would be a totally new look for a TR6.
