TR4/4A Some progress on the '66 TR4a

Got the engine and transmission mounted today, your prior tips about lifting the engine to help the mating was a great help. I got the lift and Oberg and nothing to it!

Next step is the engine going in and then, assuming the transmission and OD are as good as the seller claimed, hopefully driving her.
 
Fingers crossed on the transmission and OD assembly Scott - I'm personally 49% sure they'll be issues but not much to do but give it a go at this point.
 
What happened to the A-type overdrive you had disassemebled and were getting rebuilt? Was that for the other 4A or the 6?

Hi Scott - that was for the '67 IRS TR4a. That car is up and running - the one I've been dealing with the camber issues on - but I haven't installed the OD solenoid yet to make sure that the OD works. It has been rebuilt so I'm not too worried about it.
