I'll try to say this without breaking The Boss's rule.
There is someone on eBay that is selling a part that he (or she) has made into 2 parts. Either part cannot be used alone, with out the other, just to make more money. I just don't understand some people /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif !

and what's worse...you don't win both parts!!!!!!!

Then what do you do if the parts are scarce. It makes the bidding artificially hi!

Are they getting any bids? I wouldn't bid just on principle, if there were ANY possibility of getting the part(s) elsewhere.

Don't tell me....it's a gear shift knob.
Let's see...(the hint was "a little shifty," okay,
don't tell me, don't tell me...

It's a transmissions part.... no??? Okay, don't tell
me...

Just gotta goof and laugh at life,

I think the seller figured it out as I see 1 for sale whole now.

Why shouldn't the person selling the parts maximize their profit? You don't have to bid on it. If others are willing to do so, let them.

A car sold as parts is almost always worth more than as a whole. That's the entire business of parts and junkyards.
