Does the dash go in first then inst. and wires. etc.etc. Note this unit is still on the work bench.

Howdy folks,

I did a "Nut & Bolt" on a `58 MGA. This is the way I did it as well. Installed the guages, switches, wiring etc. while on the bench & then Installed the completed Ass`y. onto the car.

It sure makes life easier while its off the car!!

I installed the dash on my Mk1 Midget with the instruments in no problem. It is easier to install some of the other stuff - windscreen wipers, vents and the padded crash rail - before the dash goes in rather than later. Then make sure everything works before you put the seats in!
