No real reason to post this, other than to balance out Frank's parts karma with a little of my own good fortune - as well as to gloat!

Here is one example of the payout of endlessly paging through the mind numbing of ebay offering: a set of AE Hepolite Powermax 87MM pistons and liners that haven't seen the light of day since the 70's, which were listed with the very descriptive label of "Triumph parts". One buy it now later and I'm one step closer to getting my 59 3A a new set of lungs!

I'm so jealous, I just happen to be ordering parts for the rebuild this weekend. Unless you want to get rid of those for a small profit or large. Also thanks for the the link to Rockerarms.com. There web site must be down right now I'll call them next week

I have a set of those on the shelf. I bought a TR4 years ago (1988). Trunk was full (I do mean full)of small boxes. Car wasn't running the time. After I got it home, I cleaned out the trunk. There was no spare tire in the bottom but there was a complete set of liners w/pistons. Saving them for the TR3 for when it needs a rebuild.

Oh my...you're such a saavy shopper...lol.

I did close to the same thing when I found an Purolator oil filter head searching under Purolator (and Tecalemit). I paid %4.95 for it. Great deal for me since I couldn't locate one anywhere, at any price.
