Some amazing ice carving

Just had this link forwarded to me by a Texas ice carver who I met at Lake Louise back in February... He recently went to the World Ice Art Championship in Alaska, their sculpture is amazing! I've been to that festival in Fairbanks a couple of times....those sculptures are even more impressive when you're standing right in front of them!

I've observed the ice carvers doing smaller ones here at the annual Ice Magic Festival at Lake Louise... And I can attest to their skill...

I'm just floored by how big these Fairbanks sculptures are

Ice sculptures are AWESOME! Occasionally we have some around here {S.L.C.}. When I lived in Corpus, Christi Texas. Annually there are sand sculpture contests {Sand fest} at Aransas pass Texas, Some AWESOME art work out of pure beach sand to be seen there!
