Nice work, good choice on the mounting location. Nice looking car as well. Every time I see a nice shot like that I think about buying an MGB again!

And don't knock the front plate -- they're required here in Utah. I got a ticket once for not having one on a truck I used to have.

Hey Doc,

Put the square 8s on ebay. They are really popular with the cobra crowd. Make the reserve as much as it takes to get the sft/slrs that you want. Jesse's tip of the day. Go to ebay UK and look for the SLR/SFT lamps. If you ebay wisely, they can be a lot cheaper than getting them here, even with the grossly overpriced Royal Mail shipping.

They belong on the +2... I "liberated" 'em on a "lend-lease" agreement, Jesse. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Dang!! If I happen across a "spare pair" I will drop you a line.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif That would be Most Appreciated!

I practically always look for parts (and books) internationally, and have bought from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Netherland and even.... France. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Most sellers will ship internationally, even those that say they don't, if you ask nicely first....

Doc, I would sell the Square Eights on...the Mustang guys go crazy over them. Just look at e'bay. I think that you B would look best with a set of Flame Throwers. That is whats on mine, and round lamps look great on a B. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Agreed! I've "let go" of two sets of Flamethrowers in my past, left 'em on cars I parted with. Very STOOPID on my part (but 20-20 hindsight ain't rare in my case). The S-Eights will have to stay with me a while as the +2 looks "nekkid" with empty "pods".

Matt: those tires are "Humpty-dumps." Mix-n-match. Haven't chosen what I'm gonna "shoe" it with yet. That'll be coming in the next few weeks. I'm leaning toward Sumi's, if it means anything...

Thanks for the feedback. I know several folks with that tire and they are quite happy with it. Apparently, although it is classified as a high performance summer tire, the tire's performance in the rain (including through standing water) is more than adequate to inspire confidence. Post again after you end up making your decision.

Will do! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

You HUSH, Mr. Sneddon! He don't KNOW me yet...

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
