I had the driftwood ship at Eastern Shore Art Center (Fairhope, AL) in the member's gallery and it just sold. I came home to a message on the machine just now. I had to set up a bunch of my stuff today for another show In La and I was thinking, "Man, I hate to have to go pick up that boat in Fairhope...". Just goes to show, ya just never know.

Congrats

So, your ship sailed instead of came in? :jester:

Well done! I would imagine that's very affirming. Keep up the good work!

I'd say it did both, sailed to a new home after coming in with some money.

Exactly! It was sold to as couple for their home in Dallas. Kelly sold her piece she had there too that placed in a big show here. I was hoping Fairhope would be a good venue for our more contemporary pieces and that seems to be the case. Good thing too, I wanted an excuse to spend the weekend there every two months.
