Sold the Midget

So I officially sold the #54 Spridget. Sad to see it go, but the new owner is very excited and I expect youll see more of that car here soon. He's even talking about a Rover K conversion! All in all I am glad it found a good home and that someone appreciated all the work that went into her. Thank you all for all the great help over the years, Im sure Ill be here again with another LBC in the future.

PS anyone looking for a good 1275 transplant canidate let me know I just threw it up on eBay, I also have some original round arch quarter panels off a 73, including the area under the taillights, very clean panels I was saving with minimal rust.

Sad to see it go, but I understand the economic realities as well as anyone (I could never have built a car that nice at your age).

Anyway, good to see it going to a good home.

Will #54 be used on the street or track? (or both?).

He's an autocrosser up in syracuse. But he's anxious to get a track day or two in. Im glad he'll have fun with it!

Well,
Here I am and Scott really did build a beautiful car. It's as much a show car as it is a go car. As stated elsewhere I had planned on building up a racer out of my '66 Midget but after seeing his car on Ebay at an incredible price I decided to see if it's more fun to buy it race it and break it rather than to Build it,race it, and break it.
I do not have my Racing license yet so the next order of business is some driver's schools. Any recommendations?

Scott, thanks so much for all you have added here. You've been an inspiration and I really hope you stick around. Come by from time to time, you know the lights always on.

When (not if) another lbc finds you we will want to hear all about it.
How about grabbing up some SWA car with no motor in it and having some fun?
Put those RWA's to some good use and then plop a V6 or lightweight V8 into it?

Anyway, it's been fun and I really hope you still pop in to say hi at the least.
