Well after a very frustrating few weeks, I decided to simplify my life and sell the Herald. I am REALLY surprised at the number of calls I have gotten. 10 years ago this was still thought of as a lowly used car. Apparently at least here, it is starting to become more interesting to enthusiasts.

I advertised it on Friday, and have gotten multiple calls from serious potential buyers. Stranger still several call came after I removed the ad, to bad I didn't know there was so much interest in Heralds a few hours earlier when I was negotiating a price but so it goes. As it is, I sold a largely disassembled car, (which will need to be towed since it is disassembled) in need of total body work, and a huge box of spare parts for almost $3,200 so I can't complain.

Good for you -- perhaps you will get something that can be driven right now and be assured you'll still get to enjoy some wrenching from time to time.
