Soft top repair

First off, there are two small tears on either side of the car next to the small windows. Second, the casing around the foam on the bottom of the top is thread rot and most of it is nonexistant anymore. Has anybody repaired any of these and like to share their ideas? Much appreciated.

Depending on how old the top is? Any repairs to the seams will require removal of top. Might be just as economical to replace.

If you have someone in your area that does Boat tops and such, they might be able to repair it but you will feel much better about leaving it out in the rain if you put a new top on it.
lots of suppliers out there. I got mine from NOS Reproductions in Ontario .Canada for around 400 loonies(200 Toonies  )And was able to specify dark tinted windows in it too. :cooler:
