Socket size to turn over 1500 engine by hand

Can someone advise the proper size of socket to use for turning over a 1500 engine by hand? I can't seem to find that info in either of the manuals I have.

1 and 13/16" sticks in my mind. But I've always found it easier to either put the car in 4th gear and rock back and forth as needed, or simply tug on the fan belt (or, unless you have an electric or clutch-type fan, pull on a fan blade while putting slight pressure if necessary on the longest "span" of the fan belt).
 
I just went out and checked, I have a 46 MM snap on impact socket that fits perfectly. I will let you do the conversion to inches and fractions as it's too late and I'm out of synapsis.

It's a 1 and 13/16" but a 46mm will fit. I'm with Andrew though, just put it in gear and push!
