So what are your winter projects?

Thank the lucky stars, In Nov. & Dec. I finished (with some very good help) my "big" winter project which was a total rebuild of the Midget front suspension: new steering rack; 4 new lever shocks; kingpin; all new (rubber) bushes; new A-arms and sway bar (smaller, 3/8" one); rotors turned with new ceramic brake pads; new wheel bearings, etc. The whole shebang, practically every front suspension component. Also had the propshaft balanced and did a complete engine tuneup. Car rides and goes like a champ, better than new! :yesnod:

Now, except for a few, minor housekeeping items the Midget is totally ready for spring shows and driving!

Next project: lube swingarm/rear suspension on the motorcycle (Kawasaki KLR 650) and adjust the valves.

To add to all the winter joy, we're looking at another 20+ inch snowfall here, and Governor McDonnell has declared a state of emergency for my county! Gotta shovel the driveway AGAIN this weekend, it seems . . .

NO ONE will be more glad to see the verdant green of VA springtime than me! :cryin:

I am just hoping to get one of the MGs on the road sometime soon. Focusing on the GT and getting its long list of little items sorted. Hard to believe that I have owned it 10 months already.

Midget will be a little harder - mystery overheating issue.

Things accomplished:
New clutch in the 71 B
New front shocks for the 71 B
Things left to do:
Clutch in the 66 Riley Elf
Get 72 Mini painted (someone else is going to do this)
Sell the 71 B roadster.
Pull motor from project B
Get project B painted
get project B put back together.
Get Riley painted.
Restore two B roadster hard tops.

Should keep me busy for a few weeks anyway
Bruce
P.S. If anyone is looking for a pretty decent 71 B roadster, I will be selling one.
