Lots of stuff here too. But here's my short list;

My kids, Jordan, Julia, Matt, Craig, Scott & Amy.
My grandson: Nathanial.
My wife; Jackie (Jacqueline)

And as always all the members of our military who are so far from home this Thanksgiving and their families are always in our thoughts & payers. Thank you for your service and your sacrifices.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

All of the above and just wakeing up every morning so far.

Now a new grandad -- Especially thankful because of my daughter's health problem. The pregnancy increased risks for both my daughter and the grandson. Both came out well just last week. Beautiful grandson with all the finger and toes! Have a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for my Lord, my family, our great country(and the military that protect it). I am really thankful that I am around to be thankful.

So much - so little space!

My life has already been pretty much laid out over the past 11 months on this forum... and I have tons to be thankful for...

1. Still alive! - Always a good one!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
2. My family is doing well and loves each other.
3. New Job - that I love!!!
4. New CDL (attributable to new job, and my go-to-attitude at work)
5. New raise at my 3-4 month old New job. (for getting the CDL)
6. My truck is paid off. Excellent!!!!
7. My large, maxxed out, credit card balance will be paid off tomorrow (literally)!!! Superb!!!!
8. My house will be paid off in about 3.5 years (and unlike most new home buyers, I'll actually be able to see it through).
9. My boss likes me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
10. I like him (in a totally hetero way). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

and a few others to be considered for thankfulness. Yes I'm very thankful. It's Good!!!! It's G'ooooood!!!!!!

My wife and daughter (Carys); without them, I'm pretty useless and a little lost. With them, anything is possible.

This one is a bit strange. Selective memory. 2 1/2 years ago my wife gave birth to our 4 child. He had a heart defect and spent the first month of his life in the hospital. 11 days after he was born he had open heart surgery. At the time we knew it was a big deal but didn't realize until several months later how close he came to dying. We are usually pretty sharp people, but the good Lord knew we couldn't handle that at the time. Everytime I see him I thank God he didn't let me know what was happening until I could handle it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ahhh good thread. Important that we take a moment to really think about what we're thankful for, besides the 4500 calorie meal we'll consume tomorrow.

1) My children. The most important & successful thing I've done in my life.
2) My husband. He's 2nd on the list because he was useless today helping cook & clean for tomorrow.
3) The fact that both our mothers (90 and 81) are still here with us and healthy.
4) Chuck being cancer-free for 3 years.
5) The little parasite growing inside my dot-in-law.
6) That both my children are successful & happy.
7) For the close relationship and friendship with have with my sister and Chuck's 8 siblings & their spouses (except for the posformerlyknownaschucksbrother)
8) For living in a country where we can (okay, I can) criticize our government without being thrown in jail or shot.
9) For the men and women away from home in the military that can't spend the holidays with their families.
10) More importantly, for those that never will again.
11) My MGs. (okay that was shallow)
12) Our friends, some from 'childhood,' some 'newer.'

A dozen is a nice place to stop or I'll be here all night and never get the kitchen cleaned up.

Don't want to be overly corny here, but...

THANKS, BAS!!!! For the Forum!

Kenny: I am *so* glad you clarified that!

Anyway, this is a great idea for a thread.

I am thankful for every day that the Good Lord allows me to get up with a smile on my face and a cup of hot tea in my hand.

1 The Kid, and the chance to give her opportunities....
2 The Wife
3 The Job, I like and enjoy and can pretty much be my own boss, and get paid not-too-badly-even-if-it-should-be-more.
4 A nice home in a good neighborhood.
5 The fact that I've no major, or even minor complaints,
and

6 A couple LBCs, one of which even runs... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

1. Happy, healthy family
2. Great, goofy kids who make me laugh
3. Wonderful husband who puts up w/me
4. Friends--esp. Cortney who ALWAYS includes my kids

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm off to put the turkey in the oven... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The chance events which find me in a time and place where "life, liberty and the purĆ’uit of happineĆ’Ć’" (hey, that's how it looks on the ~original~!) are guaranteed.

Very fortunate.

Happy ThankĆ’giving, y'all!

I'm thankful for the typical things...

WD40, vise grips, Dremels, Band Aids, health insurance and AAA

I second Basil and couldn't have said it any better Janel.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
