That was fun Mickey,

I've been driving four cylinders so long I actually forgot the power band sound of an eight.

Being an RHD vehicle and the position of the camera, makes one feel as though you were driving it! Just scared me when those crazy drivers kept coming at me from the wrong side of the road. Then the donuts at the end were cool.

OK, I love that sound, I took mine for a ride and my son wanted the radio on and after a few minutes I had to turn it off to enjoy the sound. Funny thing is in the Hummer I always have the radio on.

Biggest question.... WHERE DID HIS ROLL BAR COME FROM, THAT IS THE ONE I WANT

I saw that roll bar at the Portland ABFM I thought it was pretty cool. Also had a top cover that was nicely stitched around it.

What is the Portland ABFM?

Goosebumps.....way cool! Hopefully mine will sound a little more like that with the 4-barrel conversion on the way and headers.

How far from a stock set-up is this guy? Given it is a TR7 V-8 conversion, must be running a 4.0 or larger, lot's of other performance mod's also

Rimmer used to sell one like that. Called the "Aley Bar". Don't know if they still do or not.

You gotta love the wail of these things when you get on em. I'm also trying to figure out the mods he's got in that engine. His shifts come a little quicker which leads me to think he's got a lower gearing (left over from the 7?). Also, he's definitely running headers and a non-stock exhaust. And I know he's replaced all the Lucas ignition - how do I know? Because it's actually running. Beyond that, it's anybody's guess, but it shur do sound purty!

As for those donuts in the field...TAAAACKY!!!!

Tom

Too funny......

But he never got a chance to truely "open er up". Everytime he got going good he would have to slow down or come to a stop sign. Would love to hear it wind thru all the gears.
