So that's what legroom feels like

First few drives in the new MGB, and I noticed that the driver's seat didn't seem to go back as far as the passenger seat. Got home today and fiddled for a moment, and the seat now goes back as it should -- it was just stuck a bit.

My word, there's a bunch of leg room now. More than I need, even with my long legs (I'm 6'1"). Fantastic!

Tunebug shows up in the classifieds when?
Not quite yet... but you never know.

Now now now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm always open to the new changes, lots of cars left that I'd still like to sample. Funds and space are limited, so I never say that any of my fun vehicle fleet are permanent -- though they might be.

Drew;

"Thou shalt not sell thy Bugeye, without calling Dave 1ST"

Gee Whiz, you coulda drove one here and drove the other home, missed chance!

I'm S.M.All so I'll fit nicely in the tunebug.

Don't make up your mind too quick, but I see a large garage in your future.

I'm in no rush, with the rental garage I've got plenty of space for both cars (one here, one in storage). I'll have some fun driving both for a few months and then I'll see if I like owning multiple cars or not.

Either way, you'll hear about it first right here.

Of course, you'll never admit it in print, but first time you go to drive Tunebug again, and go to shift, you WILL whack your left hand knuckles on the inside of the LH door......

Legroom, elbow room, head room. All th' modern conveniences!

Source a Paddy Hopkirk gas pedal cover pad if ya don't have one already. Moss has 'em off-an-on. Can't tell from the photo if I see one in there or not.

What's the advantage of that pedal cover pad, Doc?

It keeps you from putting a divot in the ball of your shoe, for one.
It extends the area of the pedal, making heel-and-toe control a LOT easier, too.

This is the only photo I can find ATM.

A couple days with the MGB and Drew's already gone soft on us...

You may need to get a proper TR just to put some testosterone back into you.

Just sad.

SMART, not soft, T. :smirk:

That's not the sort I have -- mine looks more like the brake and clutch pedal pads.

I've still got the Bugeye, Tom. That's plenty barebones for me.
