I pulled the rear wheels to top off the rear dampers and I can't find the filler nut/locations. I was expecting to see one nut on the top like with the other cars.

The dampers I have are totally flat on the top with several small retaining screws around the top. As illustrated on item #36.

Can you take a photo of the shock and post it?

Maybe it is not an Armstrong?

It is the big one on the front near the top corner. As in a horizontal bolt.

On my TR4 shocks, I have a filler bolt located right above the lever arm. The top plate does not have the filler. It is rather difficult to top them off. I use the Armstrong oil container which has a flip spout to squirt fluid in until it overflows.

Dat's it.

Oh Oh. I borrowed the one in the kitchen last summer. Guess I better go buy one NOW before the wife finds out it is gone!

That is a smallish hole to get anything thru... I use a bit of 1/4" irrigation line cobbled up to a larger bit of tubing and then a small funnel. Even at that I had to whittle the 1/4" line a bit so air could escape around it, else no oil would get in.

Something I read somewhere (sometime, somehow, etc.)

Put a small "drain" tube down into the hole to help burp out air as you fill the reservoir. I used the red squirt tube that comes with WD40. Edit: Then used an "ear irrigator" rubber syringe to add the fluid.

I use plastic disposable syringes. Vet stores (horses) carry them and they come in small and huge sizes (Like 4 ounces).
They work great for this and dashpots and I use the large one for topping off diffs and tranny's.
