I predict that I won't watch.... nothing against it, I just can't get into it.

you did say "before it starts"

The team with the most points at the end of the fourth quarter will be established as the winner.

Every time I pick a team, no matter which sport, they end up losing.

Watching the half time show....that's it.

<span style='font-size: 8pt'>(we actually *do* have people over tonight and we're calling it a "Superbowl Party", but it's really for a political get-together....we have the telly on with sound off for the pointy-football fans, though)</span>

I'm with Doc and Banjo.

Well, I've got split screens - I'm watching Super Bowl, Jerri's watching European Figure Skating Championships...I've got headsets, she's got speakers!

Sometimes I've got big picture, sometimes she has it...actually football is okay on little picture, figure skating better on big picture.

Ha! I got ya'll beat.

We live in the Atlantic Time Zone, an hour ahead
of EST. Three hours ahead of Phoenix. Therefore,
we've already seen the end of the game but I'm
not gonna spoil it for the unfortunates in lesser
time zones by posting the results.

Now, just to prove that I can't predict the future, even when I'm supposedly in control of it (mine anyway)......
I have to admit I turned it on at the end of the 3rd quarter, and watched the fourth. It was definatly a good game. Tense enough that my wife even watched with me.
We were pulling for the Giants (since my dad-in-law is a big fan, and we do live in N.Y.) and I though for sure they had lost. It was fun to watch them get it back.
OK.... Nuff said. That's enough football till next year.

am I too late? am I too late?

There! Wasn't I good guy by not posting the Giants won the game when we first saw the game end?

I was out here inna garage when Herself (who WAS watchin'... go figger) came out to ask me if I'd seen the final play. Nope, missed the whole thing. I expect I'll see plenty of footage of it replayed for the next few days. Likely I can't AVOID seein' it.

Hi Folks,

It was a good game! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif The giants quarterback, (Manning) :?, Made that incredible "ESCAPE" from the center of the pack & then threw that long completed pass to basically sinch the game. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

For myself; It does`nt matter who wins as long as its a pretty close game to generate some interest & excitment. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sleep.gif

I was between the "Dubai Golf Open" and the Giants with the remote.

wonder if it will still be popular when it becomes the

Dubai Bowl

<ducks and runs>
