This July 4th, celebrate Independence Day by invading Southern California's roads in your British car! Meet your fellow British Car nuts in Malibu for some tire-kicking and then embark on a canyon run covering many fun and challenging roads through the Santa Monica Mountains.

Our route will take us along Pacific Coast Highway before turning upward into the canyons for a scenic and fun 50-mile jaunt through the hills.

For those of you who went on the Memorial Day drive, the meeting place is the same as before. Details to follow soon!

hopefully, I won't be tied up with other things and the B will want to go... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've heard rumor the Volvo Sports guys will be invading the run, so air up those tires and show 'em how it's done! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

eh... the 'B is acting a bit funny, and in a way that i don't feel comfortable taking it out of our 'comfort zone'. So i guess i'm going to have to pass on yet another fun drive.

although I got sick on the twisties and nearly did the Technicolor yawn

LOL!!! An interesting description of this wonder of human function. You aren't the only one who got carsick behind the wheel. One or two others had the same thing happen. That was the road that the route description listed as "really, really, really twisty". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Great photos! I'll get mine posted today.

Re: Photos

Good turn out. Looks like there will be a 2nd annual? Anyone get a ticket this time?

Re: Photos

Thankfully no tickets this time. I thin kit really helped that we drove up PCH first rather than later in the day when it was warm and full of beach traffic, and therefore highway patrol.

There will more than likely be a 2nd annual but the route will need to be changed to speed things up. There were so many cars that the run took a really long time to complete.
