Snow thrower truck

so, was coming out of a restaurant Saturday and two of these were in the parking lot. Both had been there some time judging by the flat tires. No manufacturers information but, I suspect that they must have come from the airport. I also suspect them to be a failed experiment, as I don't think a snow blower actually makes sense at a shopping mall compared to a plow. Still, I love stuff like this, where form truly does follow function.

Nice find! Too bad it was dark when you saw them, I'd be curious to get a better photo of them...

Do you remember the 007 movie, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"?

A bad guy is chasing James Bond while they are both on skis. The bad guy fails to make a jump and falls into the path of a snow blower truck exactly like the one above.

For a moment, you see red snow comimg from the blower chute.

Bond looks back and, seeing this says, "He had a lot of guts."

One of my favourite quotes.

Nothing special... Just that daylight is much easier to get a better photo, that's all, I'm just curious as to what these trucks look like and a night photo doesn't do it justice...

EOWWW!! The glopita-glopita machine!

Pleased to think Quadaffi has no snow removal equipment just now.

Thanks JP, an interesting looking pair of machines, hope someone rescues them... Was away for a couple of days so wasn't able to respond here...

A trade for you...

Just spotted today, er... about an hour ago actually while on my way home, a 1974 Handi-Van RV built by Champion, certainly an unusual design and apparently a fairly rare unit (the owner was there in the yard, that's why I know so much... :smirk:, and he has been getting lots of comments about it)
