So, the weather guessers said last night, snow north of us tonight, here maybe in the morning (Sunday),
So, I had to go next town over to my machinist, took the Jag.
I gotta tell ay.....it was prayer all the way home. Started snowing at the Hospital, by the time I got to the steep, long grade up to the top of our hill, roads were white. No snow tyres, no chains, rolled every stop sign, got Elizabeth in the garage. Our house and neighborhood are nothing compared to 4 blocks north of us. Gonna be fun tomorrow. Pier blocks going into the Exploder and Pickup after lunch.

Two to three more days of this stuff. On a break right now from plowing the railroad. Some places drifted 8 inches. Engines groan at that, but gotta keep it knocked down a bit.

I took these last snowfall. Had a Shay geared logging locomotive out, as I did today. Tomorrow, I'll take a 2-8-0 rod loco out so I can get RAMMING SPEED!
Got to buck those drifts.

that's what I want to see - thanks!

Whoa!!! Super!! Where is this? :hammer:

Now that I look closer, I see that it's a model. "G" scale?

Yeah....the engines shown are 1:20.3 scale 2-8-0's.....I tried to put up a shot of a Shay, had the caption, didn't work, added this one, forgot to change the caption.
The double-header is plowing through Malfunction Junction on the Colorado Consolidated Railway, just cresting the old River Rock Grade.
There's about 1500 feet of track in da back yard. All radio/battery power.

Cliff Mass is saying 8-15 if the low goes south of us

Weather-guesser Steve Poole says 8.2" IN Seattle by Wednesday PM....means over 10 here......

Nice and Sunny here
got a bit of a cold spell,
high of 59 today.

We had 72... Good for makin' way.

All the way up to 34 at 1837 local. Heavy meltosis occurring......snowmageddon or slushmageddon?
Only time will tell.

Cliff's latest is not good...and more even Thursday.

My wife is suppose to be on a plane tomorrow to San D.
Good luck on that. Told her to leave today instead. She's too stubborn.
You should be good for today. That area of town is only going to get light amounts today.
Where is their final destination ,town wise?
