First time I saw snow in years is when I drove through N.E New Mexico in '92.

Bibber, come on down but you'll have to pull a few teeth out to fit in down here. :jester:

So that must be the advantage of living in snow country -- the weather's no better, but our expectations are much lower.

Its been snowing all day here! Just shoveled (ok, snowblower) about 2.5 ft out of my driveway.

Keep it! we've had our share this year. It'll probably hit a stream and head towards us though.

Just got back in from more snow clearing. Boy, I feel like a 50-something old man...oh wait.

mehheh.

Now take a break. People have heart attacks doin' that stuff, y'know. We're already down one good man.

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind - that's why I went out and did two session with a good break in between instead of being the "hero" and trying to do it all at once.

By the way, I see you just went over 25k today! Oh Great Pumpkin!

It don't mean much at this point. Can't razz th' Colonel over it. :frown:

We've had an abnormally warm winter so far. Temps were over 40 for a few days - this caused the Kennebec River ice to break up and travel downstream. It jams up in various places as it goes and has caused some nasty local flooding. The USGC is sending an ice breaker up this way to try to alleviate things. They do this every year but usually not until late March.

Just returned from a trip out west and had colder weather in Moab UT than we do here. Won't last, though.

Or a greedy, enterprisin' 12-year-old. :smirk:

You've a point. My area is rife with urchins, all they know is tossin' empty soft drink containers onna streets and blatherin' on their cell 'phones.

Self-absorbed, brains made of mush. :wall:
