Today was supposed to be my 1st day back to work after Christmas break...guess what...SNOW DAY!!!! I love being a teacher! :banana:

Yeah, but around here Bubba gets in his 4-wheel drive truck & drives like he always does (15mph over the speed limit) & there's 2 pretty tall mountains (for around here) you have to go over to get into Huntsville from the east, & Bubba doesn't even slow down going up so he'll be out of contro9l even on a little sprinkling of snow on the way down!terriphill said:Basil said:I was in Huntsville a few years ago on business and it snowed a little. Believe it or not...that's about what it was here! LOL! temperatures are cold, but streets were clear by noon. Old son drove in from Fayetteville and yes, we will have to make this one up on June 2, but...it was nice to have a "bonus day" of Christmas vacation--I finished hanging the cabinets and trimming out the laundry/guest bathroom that was remodeled almost 2 years ago after the tornado.
