Snow? Anyone driving? What's your weather doing?

We're expecting 10-13" tonight. So it's the Burb we're driving today.

Dale -- that picture is just plain mean.

No snow today, but about 40 degrees and pouring rain here in the Nation's Capital. :cryin:

Can we come visit you? :driving:

-6f at my house this morning. A high of 8f forecasted. Not that I can consider 8f "high" by any standard I know...

9 degrees last night but no snow. Here is my pond

7" of rain last night....everything around me is flooded......stream behind our property is 15' wide when it's usually about 2' wide.

....Well after a 400 mile round trip in rain, snow, wind, ice to ABQ & Santa Fe the Mini was just great, 1st time I had driven it in the snow..... but got home & could not get up the driveway LOL!

We got SOAKED the other night too. All bodies of water are up WAY high. Woke up to 3" of water in wife's aunt's '98 Lincoln. Haven't found from where yet. Nice here today, about 65. Supposed to be 37 tonight AGAIN ! I'm tired of covering plants and moving them in. The ceramic upside down hanging tomoto planters I made work great, I just have them hung too far from the barn and it's becomming a pain to carry ten of these things back and forth evey three days. Sold a few so the experiment seems to have been a success. One auctioned off for $102 for a local charity.

I gotta big step van from the auction for $375 that needs a trans. Think I'll use that as a green house for now. Too lazy to build a dedicated structure at the moment. It just doesn't get that cold here that often. We got snow TWO YEARS IN A ROW last week which is UNHERAD OF EVER !!!! It's usually snows every 12-20 years here. I've only seen it 4 times I think. I was runnin' round like a kid, makin' snowballs and throwin' them at my house (It was 10:30 p.m, Kelly was in bed and I WAS NOT wakin' my wife up to be pelted by snowballs). Snow is cool, but only for a little while. I don't know how you guys live in that stuff. I HATE COLD !!!! (Don't like hot either)

Hawaii HERE I COME !!!! (oops, I'm married, too bad Hawaii.)

10 inches of snow here in Vermont today. It is still flurrying out there. at least i got to try out my new/used 2x4 with the plow i mounted on it from my lawn tractor. Worked ok once i tossed a couple of 80# bags of concrete on the back..

At least i was able to get a pic of my car for the calender contest.

I had it out today, but it was not really fun...
-6 F and slippery....

Great looking car Bryan!
I have a freind who was born and raised in ND. She told me you have 'leather'warnings on the news....that is, its so cold you cant wear lether because being a natural material it will freeze and crack. I was born and raised in Michigan and thought I knew how to handle cold.....but that is a new one on me....thats really cold!!!

I grew up in Michigan too. It was quite a shock even for me the first winter we lived out here in North Dakota. We can go 40-50 days in a row without ever reaching 0 degrees-F. The coldest I can remember was December of 1990. We were driving an old International Scout on US 2, from Minot to Grand Forks, during a blizzard (incidently, on our way to Michigan for Christmas). The temp was -50 odd, with a wind chill of -130 something. Looking back, it was quite an adventure, but not fun at the time. Just thinking "what if" makes me cringe now. Had the Scout quit out there in the middle of that emptiness, we would have been in hard times for a couple days, even with all the winter emergency gear we carry in the car. My daughter was sitting over the rear seat heater with a blanket tent over her and we were all in snowmobile suits... 4 wheel drive the whole way across ND and Minnesota, and getting 3.7 miles to the gallon.......It didn't warm up til we got into the UP of Michigan.

Supposed to be 26 here tonight!

Only 15" of heavy wet snow in Portage, WI. Maybe it's time to buy a snow blower. Temp this morning only -3f with a high of 5f predicted. Lots of drifting snow thanks to the winds, but not a problem with the 4x4. Despite the snow, still made it to shoot pool last night.

<span style="color: #660000">Hey Bibber!! No car photo today although
I plan for a spin later. Ya see, summer is driving time for
the northern guys and I sure enjoy their photos. Too hot here
since DPO Pedro stripped out all the ventilation system in
my car. Asphalt roads get mighty hot.

Their winter is driving season in the tropics. No I'm not
teasing ya, I'm just sharing the Triumph driving adventure.
I'm leaving now to try our luck at some hook-ups with sailfish.

later gator, 84* and sunny here.
