Tinster! Help me! I just finished shoveling the drive and it's turning white as I type.

Please send pictures A.S.A.P.!!!

Hope you and Wendy are well, Dale.

Keep it down there! I'm busy enough fixing accelerator pedals, I don't need to do it in sloppy slushy footwells! hehehehe
Dale is welcome to send as many pics as he likes though.......

Then it's brakes for the Prius.
You have no idea Don!!!!! It might be different If I could do anything to change the way those brakes feel, but for now I have to spend an hour each driving around, not having the car do anything out of the ordinary for a hybrid, take all the info, and tell folks that if Toyota comes up with something to change how the brakes act, we'll contact you.
I'm not overly happy with certain news outlets right now.

I wuz ~tryin'~ t' keep things A-political, Ben. :jester:

We're lookin' for about two FEET of snow down here, worst winter since accurate records have been taken, about 1890ish.

Us poor Virginyians just ain't used to all this white stuff. :cryin:

Yep. TWO FEET! Holy moly, my back's already hurtin' from all the snow I gotta shovel on Sunday.

No need to go to the gym for exercise around here . . . :nonod:

They're telling us 15 to 30 inches. :cryin: I don't think it's driving with the top off weather for the next couple of days!

I remember only ONE winter in Virginia to be "bad". An "ice storm" downed power lines and tree limbs. Snow flurries would disappear kinda quick... but we were out on Buckroe Beach so bay breeze likely helped.

I've seen 3 feet in Alexandria and I'm not old enough to have seen the 1890s. Then there was that storm in the late 80's where hundreds were stuck in their cars on the freeway overnight. That was on the other side of the river in Maryland.

Ben: I hope this brake thing means some good OT for you. You know, to help with the bills.

I've lived in three southern cities, Dallas, Atlanta and Charlotte. It was the ice, not the snow that scared us and we were both raised in the north and learned to drive in the snow.

But ice - that's another matter - a truly helpless feeling. :yesnod:

Nothing here yet Frank (as of 12:03pm) but as you know its coming. I have to pickup my daughter at 8pm this evening. I dropped her off this morning since I did not want her driving home when she got done so I will be back in the thick of it when I go to pick her up. That's what dads are for!
Everyone stay safe if you have to drive on snowy/icy roads.

here it comes......
