So any good jobs down there? Seems to me that several of the big Pharmaceutical companies have automation equipment that needs tweaking ...
I'll load up my Stag - room for more rum, beach bunnies AND a surf board or two ...
Paul, this car looks sweet. You guys look like you're
having way too much fun..
And I have to say, seems like you're rubbing it in a bit
to the 'ole TR6 Bill.
Since I've come in on the middle of things, how about
updating me a bit. Is this Tinster's car and you went
where he is located to help him with some work?
Guess I sound kinda dumb, but I get that you guys kind of
go round a bit. And I do listen to each of you well, along
with many others, or course, but no question in my mind --
you guys done turned some rachets.
I'm not in Puerto Rico, David is. Dale and David (retired professional automotive technician) have been working on the Crypt Car for the past three days, successfully resurrecting it from the funeral home storage area that it was sitting in. Sort of a fitting spot at the time.
I'm part of a four man team that was working behind the scenes during the banter here to get everything ready for the big repair job in PR. Shawn, Ben and David were also in the group, with Dale at the home of the Crypt. I'm sort of the liaison posting pictures only because I was in the office today and had the chance.
If you haven't followed the saga of the car from day one it can be confusing, but welcome anyhow and now you're part of the celebration.
And please don't concern yourself about "poor ole TR6 Bill". He can give it just as well as he can take and I'll have my day in the sight of his rifle barrel.

Ain't THAT th' truth!!!
I'd give an eye-tooth to spend a few hours with Bill...
NOT!!!
But I'd love to buy th' libations. This place is a stunning collection of eclectic folk. LBC owners all and a neighborhood of sorts. Kinda puts me in mind of the advice: "Be careful what you wish for!"
...except I suspect Bill and I would actually find eachother pleasant company. As would a major portion of the rest of you miscreant LBC pedalers. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
Thank you very much! I'll take that as a compliment from a gentleman in like circumstances and who's company would be most enjoyable at a round table with the rest of the cast of characters that frequent this neighborhood.
It would be great if we could all get together somewhere, some day.
The best part was the smile on Dale's face as we drove this car around the island today. Every so often you get a chance to pay back the good people of the world for all the luck you've been given and this is my turn. I salute all of you for your support, advice, and confidence. I especially thank Shawn, Ben and Paul for their background work, and for all the rest of you for your comments and ongoing fanfare. This has been a wonderful and rewarding adventure. The group of people here should all share in this victory YOUR THE BEST
Thanks Dave
It's great to see the Crypt car running. It also looks good too. Congratulations one and all and here's to many years of happy motoring aroung Puerto Rico.
