Let me know if you find a place to camp. I have a camper and could drive my truck and let the wife drive the midget if I do manage to get it going. What is the name of the town so I can get an idea the number of miles between Asheville and there.

You can go to the Ozark Beach, MO web site for all the attractions and camp grounds and what have you.
 
Can be towed or dolyed.
 
If by some odd chance both my cars are road worthy, I might borrow my Father's truck and 24' enclosed trailer. But Geesh, that thing is a monster. It would be easier and less stressful to find another driver to drive the other car.
 
Jack - made my reservations today at The Inn at Grand Glaize; however...it was hard to determine the check-out date because there's no schedule of events...I told her we'd arrive Thursday &, since I didn't know what's happening on Sunday, that we'd leave Monday morning.

When do you think the schedule will be posted?

We'll trailer the '63 Midget MkI.
 
I think the show BBQ and such in the state park is going to be sunday.

For the 2008 get together in the Lake of the Ozarks the Inn at Grand Glaize is in Osage Beach MO.

Weee, Pat you comming. Will let you know when I do of helpers required but you know we will need some. Just no idea as yet.
 
Jack, I'm planning on getting in on the 25th as well, so I'll be around to be helpful on the 26.

Going to be good fun. A town full of little Sprites and Midgets. My wife wondered if there would be trouble parking, and I reminded her that Spridgets are small, you can fit 3 in 2 spaces easy! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I am booked may add the 25th and remove the 29th or just add it, and may not get a BE out there, but I hope too, have some time yet to figure it out. I want to be with my friends!

Sorry I haven't been around much with the new house, taxes and am trying to get research with the exclusive MMM crowd.

Need to move some cars soon '71 Midget, 60 BE, 67 XKE to a new home.

We maybe facing some radical changes here in Coney Island and will post a seperate thread asking for everyones much appreciated support.

Looking into getting out to Goodwill this year, but am a wee bit tight on the $.

Sorry I haven't been around much, but anyho I am booked my friend to the greatest event!

and a trailer and a truck - parking at the hotel is going to be nasty.

But I still plan to be there.
 
I can't book a room yet, I think the wifes best friend has a summer house 20 miles away from Osage Beach, she said something about hooking me up.
Personally, I'd rather stay at the hotel where the party is.
 
The hotel has pleanty of parking for all of us including trailers, not a problem. In fact we may even run a gymkana in it as well.
 
Prob will start this fall some time.
