There's a Smith's Gauge Tester on e-bay at the moment.

Kinda neat...just what an LBC lover needs for his toolbox. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif

Kinda neat is right.
BTW my Pug dog wouldn`t stand for that wig for 2 seconds /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

Seriously? Not a wig! What kinda dog has hair/fur like that?

I've got it on watch, and was thinking about throwing in a bid. But since you'd like to have it Bugeye, I'll pass...besides, it's starting to get out of reach for me. I hope you get it. I'll be watching.

Stuff like this doesn't show up very often. Even though you could do all the tests on the gauges without this, it's just such a neat period item that would get everyone you showed it to OOHING and AAHING. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif

BRUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! {I`m dieing here}
Man! anthony7777 Either you are VERY confident your M.I.L. won`t ever read these forums, or see this post, or you`v got the right to be called BIG KAHONAS! I was trying to picture my Pug dog {he`s huge BTW, the tallest, longest Pug ever! Guessing 60 lbs or more} wearing a MOP like that /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif {refering to the pic of that dog on the smiths tester ebay page} For those bewildered about this subject, Scroll down near the bottom of the page
P.S. my Pug dog`s registered name is Rollie Pollie Ollie {the kids named him} /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif I call him "Fat Boy"

aweman, thats an unusually large pug! his name is fitting, no im not worried about any back lash from my posts, my former father in law was able to teach f.m.i.l. to go outside to do her business but was unable to teach her to read. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Dang it, that tester was my little secret! I've always wanted one. But this one shot up another hundred bucks today so I guess I'll be looking for another!

WOW! Bidder 4 wanted that tester pretty badly, apears he bid against himself three times. @ $256.00 I guess I don`t need it!

Really? Man, you wanted that thing BAD! I haven't seen one go for that much before. Then again, it does seem to have all the little doo-dads that are usually missing, and it's in great shape. It will be a fun toy!

Steve, I haven't even seen one of these since about 1975! I probably overbid, but at least I got it. If nothing else, it will insure that all my gauges will work perfectly from here on! Meaning, now that I have a tester, nothing will fail. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
Jeff

bugeye58, congrats, think about it when do you think well ever see one that nice again. thats actually the first ive ever seen. good luck with it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Glad to see that you got it Bugeye. It is a really nice item.

Now I know where to send my gauges for a check-up. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I see them from time to time, but they are usually not in mint condition like that one and often they are missing the accessories. I'm jealous for sure!

Jeff:

Nice tester, hope the doggie comes with it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Me gots to see a 60lb pug. Must snore like a chainsaw.

Patrick

Well, we all know now where to send our problem gauges, right.

Let us know when you have it up and running, we need to get cracking here, hehe.
