Smiths Fuel Tank Sending Unit

The factory part numbers are 1B 2786 for HBJ17551 to 25314 and BHA 4485 from 25314 on according to my parts book. If you still have yours try speedy cables in the UK to have it refubished as they repair Smiths equipment and do a great job.

Thanks very much for that info. I acturally have a NOS British Leyland sending unit that only has a Smiths number stamped on it, box has lost it's tag. I thought it may belong to a Big Healey since it's almost definatly not MG or Triumph??
It is Smiths part number TB1214/004 It's a top mount unit with six screw holes.
Anyway, thanks again for the help
Mike
