smith gauges and nisonger

The gauges look fantastic, now I have to save up to send the other two gauges, since they look so bad beside the two refurbrished gauges.

That was my only problem with their service. I did make the rest of the gauges look shoddy by comparison. Oh well, maybe in the future.

Didn't mean to ignore you, missed you response 2 weeks ago. The BRRTA events schedule is on the website, we're still trying to organize our list of events. Glad the repairs went so well.

Yup, Nisonger, top shelf!

I have heard great things about Nisonger. I see on their website that they now offer conversions for tachs. I have sent them an email to see if they can estimate what it will cost to convert my positive ground tach to something that works.

Currently I have a Sun Super-Tach II in the hole, and it looks like crap.

Ron- That had that on the site when I needed it done for my 6. They said they would have to check it out to see what would work. Never got back. I ended up using the Gauge Guys. great service.

I've been sending instruments to Nisonger for at least thirty years, usually just box it up and include whatever info needed. Yet to be disappointed.

Their thoroughness has won me over - they called me three times with questions while I was at a Yankee spring training game in Tampa - try talking about ratios and gauges when people are screaming in your ear during a ballgame. They were quick, and the gauges look great. Currently saving up to send them the other two.

Good timing on this thread for me. The speedo in my Mini needs servicing. Now I know where to send it!

Now that I'm home, I've gotta call them so they can ship all my rebuilt '63 Midget instruments...I'll take photos when they get here.
