We have a new member in our British Car Club that joined last week. He lives 5 miles away and has a 64 TR4 same as me !!!! Small World we live in.

like to see those 4's. actually like to see any lbc's but not much around here. a lot of people comment i had one of those, or my dad did etc but i just don't see them on the road here.

Just watched him. I always like:
If I melt dry ice, can I take a bath without getting wet?
The universe is expanding so it should ease the traffic
Why are photo's rectangular when a camera lens is round?

and now, back to the thread topic...

I have to add my favorite:

If I'm traveling the speed of light and turn on my headlights, What happens?

My closest fellow BCF member is about 1.5 miles away.

Drives one of those new fangled TR6 machines.

We didn't know each other before meeting on the board, but are now both in the same local club.

Listen to this: Driving to work in the TR6 and enjoying
the last few good days of weather. Stopped to fuel
the car in Lafayette, CA on the way to San Francisco, CA
and as I left the gas station driveway, pulled right
in front of a nice-looking restored green TR4.

We waved to each other as I turned toward the freeway.
Should have stopped to invite a new member to the Forum,
but was running a bit close to the hour and had to go
on. Couldn't hardly believe it. I think he shot some
pics of my new fresh paint on his cell phone.

Well in the first month I owned the Europa, I was driving down a narrow country road near home when over the hill driving in the opposite direction comes another red Europa! Was absolutly gob-struck. Had never seen another one on the road (much less my car's twin). After we pass each other (and confirm we are not hallucinating) both pull over. Exchange info - the other guy lives two towns away. Very surreal - all that was missing was the Rod Sterling voice-over....

Mt Lemmon Arizona has about 150 residents. Not only is there another Triumph owner, he also has a red TR3.

If I do any bad stuff... I'm blaming him.

Well he looks pretty normal doesn't he?

I pulled in to get gas several years ago and parked opposite from a TR7. I commented on how surprised I was to see the two cars at the same place in that little town. His reaction told me that he didn't know I was driving a Triumph. I left wondering if he knew what he was driving.

Back to Steven Wright...My friend Bob and I drove coast to coast last summer. The whole way we listened to the same tape over and over and over again. I don't remember what it was.

OH, so you reached Steven's level of Consciousness? Not many have achieved such a level. You should be proud.

So that's where my hat got off to! Migrated from Paradise, California, where I left it about four years ago, to Arizona. Glad someone's taking care of it.
