I don't want to bother Basil with this so if anyone else can shed light here, please do.

When ever I compose a post, if it is longer than the window height, I run into this problem.

I get to the end of what I want to write and choose the "Check Spelling" button in the Google tool bar.

All of the words that I have misspelled go red and I begin doing the corrections.

So far, so good.

When I get to the point further down where I have to scroll the post up, I click on the red word and if the correct spelling is not offered I click "edit". That is when the problem begins.

The instant that I begin doing the manual correction the entire text scrolls and the word that I am dealing with disappears out of sight at the bottom of the window.

This is a PITA, especially if I have a few misspellings as I have to constantly do a manual scroll after every letter entered in order to see if I am doing it right.

The same thing happens as I continue to add to the post in the first place. As in right now, I am typing this sentence and have no idea what is being entered, unless I stop and scroll the page.

This is the only site that creates this problem so I suspect that it is some sort of incompatibility between the site and Google. It happens on all three of my computers too.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks, Jack

Firefox has a built-in spell checker that works just fine with BCF. It also checks as you type, which I find helpful.
