Small four post lift

Not sure it would work for hoisting a Spridget. It would be great to get all my lawn mowers and equipment off the floor to gain some work space around the car.
 
I've been dreaming of a 4-post lift !!!!!

Trevor, where would you put the 4 posts ??? I have a floor jack, and I can jack up the rear using the differential, but I don't know where to locate the jack in front of the car?

It has a 2500 lb capacity, and any midget should be well below that. It would be a tight squeeze to get a midget on/under it, but it wouldn't take up as much room in the garage (like my current lift).
 
Do they come out and install it for you at that price? I just looked at some of the specs, and the shipping weight is over 1,400 pounds.
 
Nope, they do not install them for that price, but the shipping is reasonable. I had my 4-post lift delivered to a local business and then I picked it up on a car hauler. I then unloaded it piece by piece and installed it. It would have been easier with a helper, but creative use of wheel dollies, timber and jacks and I had it together in a few hours.
 
Wouldn't the top Midget leak oil all over the bottom Midget??????
 
Nope... Solid floor.

On my current lift I have to keep the drip trays in place or my wife would have oil all over here car.
 
I bought my two-post lift from Greg Smith/Atlanta. Picked it up in my Nissan Titan (short bed); weight was 1470 lbs. Unloaded it by myself and actually did the install all by myself. Getting the columns (12') in place was a trick...did it all with an engine hoist...it's all documented here (1/2 way down the page):

The folks at Greg Smith were good to deal with, but they expect you to be prepared when you show up to get the lift. They will move the crate (length of crate was 9' 6") out to the loading area with a fork lift and set it in/on your vehicle, then it is up to you. If I were buying in Atlanta and installing in Louisville, I'd probably rent a U-Haul trailer to move it...that should be cheaper than the shipping costs and at least you know it will get there properly.

My first lift I bought from them and had them ship it to a local tractor dealership that I know, then I picked it up and hauled it with a car hauler. The 4-post lifts are MUCH longer than the two post units.

The difference in cost for me to drive to Indy and pay state taxes vs have it shipped was $65.
