I went to see Sly and the Family Stone two times in concert. The concert did start late each time, but the band was worth the wait. The recent documentary "Sly Lives" was quite interesting to me. I saw it on Hulu, but it might be at other places. I saw that Sly passed away - https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/09/arts/music/sly-stone-dead.html. Another icon of my youth is gone.

As always, I'm so sorry to see the loss of some of the names - and sounds - of my youth.

We're all just Everyday People.

I heard he was really good friends with Keith Richards & Willie Nelson.
