slightly off topic but - manual available

Are they serious? I got a Supermarine Spitfire shop manual at the Smithsonian Air & Space museum about 5 years ago. It was hardcover & they had Hawker Hurricane ones, too, though I didn't get one of those.

Google is your friend. These Lancaster manuals are listed on Amazon.

But ~THIS~ is far more useful to most of us.
 
James, your book must be a fake or filled with errors. NOBODY has ever figured out how these complication machines work. They are so filled with flaws in logic and subject to malfuctions that they are impossible to keep running in a smooth and harmonious manner. But ya gotta admit the basic hardware design is interesting to say the least. :p
