GT6 Sliding Roof on a GT6

Hi,

Looking to source a new or used sliding roof for a GT6. Webasto has written me telling me that they are no longer available. Don't know about Britax, but I did get some dimensions of the Webasto top...24"Lx28.5"W. I'm assuming there is some room to grow on that dimension. Has anyone on this forum installed a sliding roof on their GT6. What did you use? I have seen a few MGB-GT roofs available(used), but there may be issues with length & shape?

I've written several other UK sites without much luck...many just tell me to buy a Spitfire body or just don't do it period.

Cheers,

Todd Bermudez

Those roofs came in at least two different sizes. The BMW 2002 owners go nuts for them. A friend of mine bought a new old stock one on ebay a couple of years back. His intention was to replace the one that was original in his TR8 coupe. It was just a little smaller than the original, so he could not use it. I am pretty sure he still has it, and would be willing to sell it. Send me a private message and I will send you his phone number.
