Good health to you all.....even if you aren't Irish!

We participated in ~This~ last weekend (yes I know....a week early, but there's a lot of competition for the actual date around here).

That's our buggy in the 3rd photo (with the chain drive Mack).
Note some of the other cars.
The DeLorean(technically the only Brit car in the parade), broke down at the mid point and had to be pushed the rest of the way.

Ran out of time

Wouldn't the DeLorean technically be the only Irish car in the parade? They were built in Dunmurry, just outside Belfast.

There are two "Irelands". There is Ireland (which I often refer to as "the free state") and there is Northern Ireland.

Dunmurry is in Northern Ireland, which is (to the regret of many of us) part of the UK.

Come on, Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh, what's the difference? <runs and hides>

Love that micro van in there! One of my Flickr contacts also posted photos of the parade, turns out it's a Cony 360 Van from the 1960's, a rare Japanese truck, great combination of the big van and the small van, especially with the paint job on both of them...
