I'm considering the purchase of a project BJ7 which is most of the way across the country from me. The car is in the early stages of reassembly and the owner has lost interest. The doors and fenders have been hung on the chassis but all other parts are loose or in boxes. I'm investigating the various options for getting the car shipped, but maybe the best would be to drive back with my truck, rent/buy a trailer and drag it home.

Can anyone tell me what the car weighs and what the length and width of the body minus bumpers and brackets is? I want to get the smallest, lightest trailer that it will fit on or in.
