six blade plastic fan bolts?

Trying to piece together a '64 Midget which was missing many bits. You don't appreciate
a complete restoration project car until you've tired finding all of the small parts!
Can anyone send the length and threads of the original four bolts that attach
the plastic 6-blade fan to the water pump? Thanks! And if anyone has a set for
sale, let me know.
Steve

I may have a set of bolts. I replaced my water pump on my '69 Sprite two years ago and decided to replace the fan and its hardware while I had everything opened up. I'll do some digging in the parts bin and let you know.

They are 1/4'x28. Not positive on length, but I believe 3/4". That's easily determined by checking the thickness of the fan bushing+ the thickness to the water pump flange. Check for clearance behind the flange if your threads are a little proud.

These bolts are 1" long. Found two but need two more. Nothing locally.

That is a very common bolt. Any hardware store, Home Depot or Lowes should have them.

Hi Steve,

I found three unused radiator fan bolts in my parts bin. PM me if you're still interested.

Thanks guys. Found them at Lowes. The two local Home Depot stores no longer
carry anything but the most common stuff (16 and 20 TPI bolts). It seems HD has switched
over to a good selection of metric but got rid of their cabinet of standard hardware. Ugh.
