Single SU HS4 swap on a 1500

There's discussion in a couple of threads about this swap but I'd like more info about it so I thought I'd start a new thread on the topic /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here are my questions on the matter:
Anyone have any pics of this installation?
How hard is it to fab up the linkage?
These units are manual choke right?
What's a fair cost for one of these carbs that needs a rebuild? already rebuilt?

This love for cars is a disease.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Thanks, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I understand the 1.5" SU's bolt right onto the 1500 manifold, as the bolt pattern is the same. Everything else should be standard, as the throttle should be opened in the same way as the standard carb. I couldn't tell you about the price, as I don't own any.

The conversion is not to hard, I have one on the shelf that I did a few years ago for an emergency, when a spit or RB midget wants to give me trouble.
