Single HS4 vs pair of HS2 on a 1275?

single HIF44 for me, BDL needle, K&N pancake filter. on standard 1275.
Manifold can be a bit of a pig to source. I used a mini one & moddified it by lopping the carb flange off & took about 1/2" wedge out from the bottom & got it welded back together. Otherwise to bonnet won't shut.

There are lots of posts here regarding single or twin, but single for me is the way to go. Plenty of oooomph & only need to buy parts for one carb. Plus BMC cocked up the design of the twin manifold & there is lots of bad turbulence in there.
