Singer For Sale

Vehicle: 1934 Singer Le Mans
Car number: 62522
Body number: F 341

A 1934 Singer Le Mans fully restored and ready for sale. This sporty, two-seater convertible looks just as good, if not better, than the day it rolled out of the Singer plant in Coventry, England. Own a rare piece of English automotive history and be the envy of any British car club or auto show.

The body is in exceptional condition. The fit and finish of all the body panels are excellent. The butterfly-style hood opens with ease and closes flush with the cowl and radiator. The grille is not original, but fits great with the car. The slab-style fuel tank was custom made for this car with much effort to match the design. The burgundy paint job displays excellent shine and clarity, with plenty of depth. The beautiful wood dash cradles original gauges. The tan leather seats match the tan carpeted floors.

The car operates on its original dual carburetor, 972 cc four cylinder engine. It still runs great, having been driven to several local car shows with no problems. The four speed transmission shifts smoothly. It hugs the pavement on four white wire wheels, with two spare tires mounted behind the fuel tank.

Overall, it's in superb condition and ready for a new owner to enjoy! It deserves a new home with a British auto enthusiast who can fully appreciate it. My asking price is $37,500 or best offer. Please feel free to pass this message on to anyone who may be interested.

Lovely car, for sure, James.

But I have to ask: You've just joined the forum here and posted a car for sale. Have you checked into our Classified section? That's the proper place to post a car/item for sale.

If you haven't had the chance to acquaint yourself with Basil's policies for the BCF, check here.

Thanks!
Mickey

My grandmother used to have a Singer, she used to hem dresses and slacks and do alterations on it all the time.

I wasn't gonna go there.

There were 22 Singer CARS at Stowe last weekend, both pre & post WWll examples. When I mentioned this one for sale -that was the post subject as I recall- the club was aware of the car. They were sort of MG styled but I think better handling looking at the race records. Too bad Rootes took them over & then pulled the plug on the marque.
