Thanks, guys. That was done back-in-the-day; stipple with Koh-i-noor Rapidograph pens and actual ink. Now we can do it with PShop in minutes. Amazing.
 
I remember those Rapidiograph pens well. Robert Crumb used them a lot... and one could really produce a lot of detail.
