Well I have the donor body ready to go to the media blaster, and was wondering about the pait scheme of silverstone gray and red interior. I think that was a original combonation. Does any body have any pictures of a TR3 with those colors?
I would like a good visuial before decideing.

Don't remember seeing one, but it sure looks good in the minds eye.

How about this one?

I'm leaning heavily to this color scheme for my 59, since it was silverstone originally. But I'm forgetting about the targo purple interior for the moment.

Randy.

Hi Randy,

I`m just passing thru & Is`nt that the one that sold for over $30K on ebay about 6mo. ago? I too have it saved for future ref.

Olde English White with a Red Int. is a pretty striking combination as well.

Have Fun,

Russ

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Now what was your paint code?

we started with the basic code (color varied widely with company) and then shot a test panel. Pat and I then selected the one we liked best. (blind vote and we agreed - must be a result of being married 40 years)

Love it! Great color combo, I also like Salvador Blue and red.

Well I got the tub back from the bead blaster last night and there isn't as much metal as I thought.
The rust runs deep. Just a little more metal to weld in to the rusted out areas.
I also settled with the ins.co. and am quite satisfied with the outcome.
Now it is the medical settlement to deal with. (but thats what lawyers are for)
