It's 100 years since the first Silver Ghost and apparantly there have been a number of events to celebrate. This Morning I got to attend one, was invited to watch these "drive by" with champagne as part of a trek that started north of Montreal and will end up in California. I think four cars had already driven 4000 miles in Europe this summer. There they averaged 40 cars, here they managed to assemble 37. It was a truly amazing experience - not one easily repeated.

BTW the guy who invited me (holding the British flag in the pics) had a 1924? 20 hp Rolls. Sold ot to a guy in Quebec who has 400 cars. My friend says he has a "rack" of jags, 3 high, nine across in a building, 6 lambos, 2 deusenburgs etc. etc.

amazing!
