signal lite

My back left signal flasher is out. Got new bulb from Moss and installed it but it does not seem to be the problem. Also can't seem to figure out how to put the red glass cover back on now that I have it off. 60 BT7.........any suggestions on what could be the problem? The front flashes, as do the passenger flashes, front and back.

If the brake light works and only the flasher doesn't work on one assembly,
It is probably caused by the big relay in the engine compartment. On a BJ8 its on the drivers side near where the solid gas line ends and the flexible fuel line is attached. If both the turn signal and brake light both don't work on one rear light, check the ground wire connection for that side and the cable connection to that light assembly.
