T-Series Sighting MGTF in San Diego CA.

Hey Folks,

Well while traveling north on I5 (Interstate 5) on my return from the boarder where I was working today, I was taken aback by what looked like an MG in my rearview mirror. Slowing down I allowed the car to pass and sure enough it was indeed a MG TF with Mexican (BC) license plates. I knew that they sold them down there because members of the San Diego MG Club have been talking about it for ages now and scheming on ways they might be able to get one across the board legally. But to date I hadn’t seen one except in photos.

Anyway I allowed the cute young lady to pass so I could get a good look at it. And as it passed I scrambled to snap a couple of pics with my digitl camera. Sadly only one (see the attachment) came out fairly good. As you can see the young lady behind the wheel was crossing several lanes of traffic to catch an off ramp. I figure one of two things happened – she wasn’t paying attention or was confused by our signs (like most folks from south of the boarder are) Or she saw the goofy guy in the big blue 4x4 behind her (me) serving all over the road (I was scrambling for my camera) and wanted to take the next exit to get away from the crazy gringo. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sorry about the picture quality but I was a bit rushed.

I hope I didn't scare the poor young lady too much in my attempt to take her picture? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif
