We'll I just traded my 2002 ford ranger for a, 1997 dodge ram 2500. with a 5.9 liter turbo Cummings diesel. I don't want to use the Dodge for short trips, it needs to warm up. So my other option is to use the 250 for my daily driver. The TR 3 is covered up and requires more work to get it in and out of the side yard. Driving the 250 for my running around is a lot of fun. I should have gotten the Dodge a lot sooner.
P.S. I got the dodge to pull a 30' fifth wheel.
 
Wife has been after me for years for a travel trailer or motor home. I've been able to hold her off. Glad the dodge is working out. Weather here is starting cool off a little so I can sandblast my 250 tub. What paint did you use (val blue) for your 250?

I gave my daily driver to my son a couple weeks ago, have been using my TR250 and BMW 2002 as daily drivers (whip out the violins, I know, poor destitute chap that I am) I sometimes find myself turning off on a side street just before I get home just to row through the lower gears and power out of tight corners just for a little more driving fun, enjoy it! Marv, I am not sure if you were asking about paint color or type, I used paint from TCP Global Autocolor Library for my TR250, Single Stage Urethane Enamel, about half the price or less than the local paint shop products, they have the original Triumph paint chips, and the paint is still sticking and shining after about 4 years, I don't know that I wouldn't go higher end if doing a cost is no object restoration, but at my end of the restoration world the paint prep and application are going to make more of a difference than the brand.
